VHE acquires two new Komatsu wheel loaders

Wednesday, September 5th, 2007

VHE, the remediation arm of Renew Holdings plc, has just purchased two new Komatsu WA430-6 wheel loaders to replace their two 10-year old WA380s. The new loaders, which have been put to work on two major gas works remediation projects in the Yorkshire area, add to VHE’s existing fleet of over 75 items of plant ranging from small-scale dump trucks to large-scale earthmoving machines.
Chris Lodge, VHE’s Plant Manager talks about the reasons for the purchase:
“The machines that our new dash-6 wheel loaders are replacing are over 10 years old but have proved to be a reliable, quality product. There is lots of competition in the industry but given the long, good working relationship that we have with Marubeni-Komatsu, coupled with value for money in the machines we purchased, the Komatsus were the obvious choice.”
He continues:
“Our fleet is suitable for remediation, soil stabilisation and modification, ground improvement, bulk earthworks and compaction requirements. We can also provide bespoke plant for soil washing and the treatment of contaminated groundwater.”
