Monday, September 24th, 2007
The Saint Consulting Group, the nation’s leading land use political consulting firm, has created a new division dedicated exclusively to land use entitlements in the aggregate and mining industry.
Saint Consulting has been working in the aggregate industry for five years in both the United States and Canada. In addition, company executives have been guest speakers and hosted forums on overcoming community opposition at numerous industry conferences.
The new Aggregate and Mining Division will be based in Franklin, Tennessee, one of the company’s 15 offices in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. The company has promoted Christopher Hopkins to Senior Vice President in charge of the Aggregate and Mining Division. Hopkins previously served as Vice President overseeing operations in the southern United States.
“With our extensive experience and knowledge in land use politics, we are uniquely qualified to expand our reach to the aggregate and mining industry,†said Michael Saint, CEO and Chairman. “The new division is part of Saint Consulting’s specialization in specific industries that show strong potential for growth, but are in areas where community opposition to the development is an issue.â€
