Becker Mining Systems acquires Embigence

The German-based mining equipment supplier Becker Mining Systems AG has now acquired Embigence GmbH based in Ladbergen (Germany).
Embigence is a consultant and supplier specialized in the realization of individual automation solutions. With 20 employees, Embigence provides advanced system solutions for â€œEmbedded (Computer) Systemsâ€ for machines and technical installations.
Becker Mining Systems is one of the worldâ€™s leading mining suppliers with more than 1,100 employees and an annual turnover of â‚¬156 million (2006). Becker Mining Systems focuses on productivity and safety in mining as well as developing and supplying solutions in the areas of energy distribution, automation, communication and transport.
