Helmut Leube appointed Chairman of the Management Board at DEUTZ

The Supervisory Board of DEUTZ AG, Cologne, has appointed Dr Helmut Leube (54) as the new Chairman of the Management Board with effect from 1 February 2008. His contract runs for five years. He will replace Gordon Riske, who moved to the KION Group at the beginning of October this year. Helmut Meyer, the company’s Chief Financial Officer, is the acting Chairman of the Management Board for the period October 2007 to January 2008.
Since 2004, Helmut Leube has been a member of the Management Board of Webasto AG where, as Chief Operating Officer, he has been in charge of Operations as well as the division Convertible, Roof and Body. He previously held a number of leading positions at BMW AG over a period of 17 years. For part of this time he was Chairman of BMW Manufacturing Co. LLC in Spartanburg SC, United States.
