1205 g/t gold assay from Golden Rim’s Sepola Project in Mali

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Golden Rim Resources Ltd announce some very high grade assay results from its Sepola Gold Project in Mali.
The Company has recently completed a geological reconnaissance and rock chip sampling program (total of 46 samples) on its Sepola Gold Project, in Mali and this work has produced some very high grade assay results, including 1205 g/t (38.7 oz/t), 28.6 g/t, 15.3 g/t and 11.7 g/t of gold.
Highlights:
– A geological reconnaissance and rock chip sampling program (46 samples) has just been completed over the Magoyafara South and Linnguekoto prospect areas at the Sepola Gold Project in Mali.
– At Linnguekoto a very high gold assay of 1205 g/t gold (38.7 oz/t) was received from a rock chip sample taken from a 80cm wide quartz vein currently being mined by artisanal miners.
– Additional high gold results obtained from quartz veining at Linnguekoto include 28.6 g/t, 15.3 g/t and 11.7 g/t gold.
– Golden Rim believes that the high grade nature of these rock chip sample provides additional evidence that there is considerable scope to locate additional higher grade gold mineralisation at Sepola to add to the existing Inferred Resource base of 162,000 oz of gold.
