Modular to Showcase Mining Technology at BAUMA 2010

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

Modular Mining Systems, Inc., the market leader in mine management solutions worldwide, announces that the company will exhibit at BAUMA 2010—the 29th International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment.
BAUMA 2010 will take place in Munich, Germany on April 19th-25th at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. The event is considered one of the largest tradeshows worldwide, featuring over 550,000 square meters of exhibition space with an estimated 3,200 exhibitors.
Modular will display a number of products from the IntelliMine® asset management suite, including the ShiftBoss®, RoadMap™, and ProVision® Shovel Standalone solutions. The recently released ShiftBoss solution is a mine production tracking system for mines that do not need the power of optimized fleet management, and the RoadMap application improves light vehicle awareness. ProVision Shovel 3.0 is a three-dimensional bucket positioning system that allows users to continuously control the bucket’s true movement in relation to ore boundaries, designed bench grades, material layers, or slopes. The standalone version is designed for smaller construction operations that do not have a connected mine management system.
Modular will present these and other systems along with Komatsu in Hall B5.
