To celebrate its 100th anniversary, Caterpillar has created ‘The Next 100 Years’ theme to highlight the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
Caterpillar’s exhibit will feature 48 machines spanning over 9000m2, including 17 new introductions or upgrades.
Caterpillar group president Tony Fassino expressed his excitement in making a return to bauma this April.
“What we will show will be a fitting tribute to our heritage while demonstrating our commitment to building a safer, smarter and more sustainable world with our customers and dealers for the next 100 years,” he said.
“Alternative power sources, reduced carbon options, and integrated technologies are the future, and Caterpillar is ready to deliver this in collaboration with our global dealer network.”
Taking centre stage at bauma will be the Cat Performance Centre, featuring the latest 301.9 mini hydraulic excavator and 906 compact wheel loader from Cat’s battery electric range.
The latest updates to the 320 and 950 GC prototypes will also be showcased, along with associated charging options and services.

Focusing on sustainability and digitalisation, Sandvik’s 450m2 exhibit will allow attendees to explore the company’s ground support, surface drilling, stationary crushing and screening, rock tools and parts and services.
Sandvik president Mats Eriksson said the company is keen to return to bauma after a 12-year hiatus.
“Sandvik will have a broad range of solutions on display for infrastructure, mining and tunnelling applications, designed to address increasing demands for safety, reliability and cost-efficiency,” he said.
