King River Resources has identified multiple styles of gold mineralisation at the Mindoolah gold project in Western Australia, with surface sampling returning grades of up to 44.3 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au).

The company said structural mapping and geochemical results had strengthened its understanding of the historically mined project, located approximately 70km north-west of Cue in the Murchison Province, and established a pipeline of targets ahead of a planned reverse circulation (RC) drilling program in October.

At Bertram’s, rock chip sampling returned peak results of 44.3g/t Au, 22.6g/t Au and 8.96g/t Au along a northeast-southwest trending intrusive dyke and contact corridor.

King River said the high-grade results were associated with quartz stockwork veins and alteration, making the area a priority for drilling along strike and down-dip.

Further north, Le Soleil returned assays of 16.95g/t Au and 8.96g/t Au at mapped shear and banded iron formation (BIF) junctions.

King River said Bertram’s, Le Soleil and Excelsior shared comparable structural and geochemical characteristics, indicating a recurring intrusive and stockwork mineralisation setting across the Mindoolah mining centre.

Cundy represents a different target style, with quartz veining associated with folded BIF returning up to 1.19g/t Au. Historical sampling across the broader trend has returned grades of up to 13.25g/t Au.

At Mindoolah Main Reef, sampling identified a separate mafic intrusive-hosted gold target, with a chlorite-altered dyke returning 1.15g/t Au. The 2–4m-wide dyke coincides with an untested approximately 100m-long aeromagnetic anomaly.

King River managing director Graham Gadsby said the latest work had strengthened the company’s geological model and target pipeline.

“Our technical interpretation indicates that Bertram’s, Le Soleil and Excelsior share a broadly comparable structural and geochemical framework,” Gadsby said.

“With high-resolution geophysics, detailed mapping and multi-element geochemistry now integrated, we have established a strong pipeline of drill-ready targets ahead of the Phase 2 RC program in early October 2026.”

The company has completed its first heritage survey at Mindoolah with the Wajarri Yamaji People as it progresses priority exploration areas.

Phase 1 stockpile drilling results remain pending, while the company prepares to systematically test mineralised corridors and structural intersections beneath shallow historical workings during the upcoming drilling program.
