Drilling at Lorraine will start immediately after the current program at the Alotta Project. No objections were lodged by First Nations people for the drilling permit

Chase Mining Corporation Ltd has received a permit for its planned drilling at the Lorraine Project in Quebec, Canada, after no objections were lodged by First Nations people.

The drilling at the gold project is expected to begin immediately after the competition of drilling which is now underway at the company’s Alotta Project, also in Quebec.

The CDD enclosed skid-mounted diamond drilling rig set up on-site at Alotta.

Alotta drilling

The focus at Alotta is on the high-grade copper-palladium-platinum mineralisation intersected during drilling in October 2019, which returned a 4.1-metre zone of mineralisation hosted in feldspar porphyry from 55.3 metres downhole.

All logistics have been arranged, with Orix Geoscience and Chibougamau Diamond Drilling Ltd personnel on-site and diamond drilling equipment set up.

The drilling of hole ZA-20-01 has commenced and was at 6 metres last night, June 25.

Chase Mining will make regular drilling progress updates including photos of visually mineralised core as the program progresses.
