Hexagon

Hexagon’s technology provides accurate blast information that’s used to recover more of a mine’s resources.

Taking place from September 13-15 in Las Vegas, MINExpo welcomes the most ambitious innovators in the global mining industry, with cutting-edge equipment, services and technologies set to be on display.

Australian Mining highlights four companies worth checking out for all the latest technology advancements in mining.

Hexagon

Hexagon will be showcasing its latest sensors, software and autonomous solutions at MINExpo 2021.

The facilitator of integrated life-of-mine technology solutions which ensure the safety and connectivity of mine sites, Hexagon will present the tech behind its smart device ecosystem and introduce innovation for autonomous fleet management and drill and blast.

They will also present tech talks spanning topics such as planning and operations to monitoring, processing and autonomy.

PROK

PROK are conveyor component manufacturers first and foremost, however as part of its High Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE) roller showcase at MINExpo 2021, the company will present its new visual wear indicator technology.

First revealed in February 2021, the visual wear indicator technology assists mining operations to improve their maintenance planning, facilitating faster roller changeouts and simplifying idler maintenance.

The HDPE roller itself will also be on display – a new innovation including a premium seal arrangement and is fit for corrosive environments.

Haver & Boecker Niagara

Another tech innovator joining the MINExpo 2021 party are Haver & Boecker Niagara, which will be showcasing its new Pulse Condition Monitoring (Pulse CM) technology at booth 7301.

Designed to monitor the health of vibrating screens, Pulse CM is a wireless diagnostics tool that helps mineral processing operations stay proactive when it comes to maintenance efforts, anticipating shutdowns before they occur.

At booth 1155, Haver & Boecker Niagara will also be launching its new Niagara F-Class vibrating screen at the show – a device that offers simplified maintenance combined with maximum performance and longevity.

Xylem

In an industry where the transportation, testing and treatment of water is so important, Xylem’s water technology solutions have proven essential for many mining operations.

Xylem will be showcasing its pumping equipment and technologies at MINExpo 2021, while its mining experts will be there to offer advice on how to solve water-related conundrums on site.

Keep an eye out for their FlowTracker Handheld Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter which measures both 2D and 3D currents.
