TAKRAF Group has completed the acquisition of FSI FILTRACIÓN S.L., a Madrid-based engineering company specializing in liquid/solid separation technologies, with a particular focus on filtration.
The transaction was completed on November 3, 2026. FSI FILTRACIÓN is now part of TAKRAF Group and will continue to serve its established customer base while contributing its experience, technologies and market knowledge to the Group’s DELKOR liquid/solid separation portfolio.
Founded in Spain in 1989, FSI brings more than 35 years of experience in filtration processes across a wide range of industrial sectors, with more than 300 chamber and membrane filter press references. Its capabilities range from process engineering and equipment sizing to manufacturing, installation, testing, commissioning and technical support.
The acquisition brings together complementary capabilities. FSI’s filtration expertise and established position in Spain and Europe strengthen DELKOR’s existing filter press portfolio, while DELKOR’s international presence creates opportunities to make this expanded offering available to customers in additional markets.
“The acquisition of FSI FILTRACIÓN is an important step in strengthening our capabilities in filtration technology,” said Thomas Jabs, CEO of TAKRAF Group. “FSI brings extensive technical expertise, an established portfolio and strong customer relationships. Together, we can address a broader range of customer requirements while building on the experience and strengths of both organizations.”
FSI’s portfolio includes filter presses with plate sizes of up to 1.8 × 1.8 m. It complements DELKOR’s existing capabilities, including solutions for larger-scale applications in mining and tailings management.
“Joining TAKRAF Group gives us the opportunity to continue building on what FSI has established over more than three decades. Our customers will continue to work with the people and expertise they know, while our team gains access to DELKOR’s international network and broader technical capabilities. We see significant potential to develop our offering together and support customers across a wider range of applications,” said Eduardo Moretón, Member of the Board of Directors of FSI FILTRACIÓN.
FSI’s existing management team will remain in place. Luca Romanengo, currently Director of Strategic Projects at TAKRAF Group, will assume the role of Managing Director of FSI. Together, the leadership team will oversee the integration and support collaboration between FSI, DELKOR and the wider TAKRAF Group.
The integration will focus on maintaining continuity for existing customers while bringing together the technical knowledge, market experience and capabilities of both organizations. FSI customers will continue to work with their established contacts and teams.
